Abstract
From the praxeological pedagogy and on a case of teaching-learning mediated by information and communication technologies (ICT) with students of the thermodynamics course in a seventh semester cohort of industrial engineering, the article exemplifies the potential of learning through games and collaborative activities, particularly relevant during the current situation in which remote teaching has been imposed and generalized. The results show a remarkable increase in the motivation and performance of students, due to the use of novel tools for them and, for the teacher, practical in the work of both teaching and evaluation.
