Abstract
El campo de la comunicación educativa ha sufrido el impacto de las transformaciones socioculturales ocurridas en la última década del siglo XX y las primeras del siglo XXI. Esta reflexión señala dos elementos al respecto. Por un lado, la creciente conciencia histórica acerca de la urgencia de un pensamiento de la decolonialidad que fundamente la lectura del ámbito sociocultural en América Latina (yo digo Abya Yala), dicho pensamiento atraviesa necesariamente el campo de la comunicación-educación. Y, por otro lado, la emergencia de repertorios tecnológicos contemporáneos que reconfiguran los mundos de la comunicación, la educación, la cibercultura y la informática comunitaria, importantes en la construcción de ciberciudadanías.
