Abstract
The article proposes photography as a transformative practice that allows for the production, reproduction, and reading of images as forms of cultural resistance. It emphasizes the importance of integrating a human rights approach and decolonization of perspective in photography for social change. Communication should extend beyond isolated cases, considering contexts, causes, and consequences of violated rights. Additionally, the concept of "visual economy" is mentioned as a framework for understanding the circulation and consumption of images today. Finally, practical experiences are presented to illustrate how photography can contribute to social transformation.
