Media moulds the relationship between the people and their family members. Even in the midst of their busy schedule and machine life, people never forget to merge them with any media for at least few hours a day. Media helps us in many ways to improve communication among people. On the other hand, overexposure of media makes the people get captivated to it and reduces the interpersonal communication. This strongly affects the relationship and communication between the family members. Once family members reach home they use to spend their time with different media. The communication gap starts here. This creates many problems and becomes huge havoc in their relationship and interpersonal communication. This study aims to analyze the impact of media among family members, and to find out how far media affects interpersonal communication among them, how it changed their communication behavior and the possible solutions to overcome the problem and improve interpersonal communication.
