Abstract

This text renders an interpretation of the relationship that exists between education policy and teacher training. For this reason, the text provides a macrocontext which places emphasis on education reforms related to the teacher training. Moreover, the text explores some concepts such as educability, teachability, history and epistemology of pedagogy, as well as the concept of formative research which are all within the 272 Act of 1998. it also highlights a study on the teachers’ qualifications, derived from the current weaknesses. Finally, it addresses some issues that lead to further discussions related to this subject.
