Abstract
The paper aims to revive the academic and research debate about the relationship between memory, history and pedagogy, noting that recently there has been a renewal in the field of teaching/learning of history, but that renewal has operated more in theory than in educational practice. Likewise, the paper shows the research experience in teaching/ learning of history that a group of professors from the Unimunuto Education Department have been doing since 2010 from field work in El Salitre School in Suba, Bogota.
