Resumo
Este artigo é o resultado de uma pesquisa documental sobre os conceitos de autonomia e pedagogia. Foi elaborado um estado da arte baseado numa análise bibliométrica. O seu objetivo é explorar as teorias mais relevantes na literatura científica atual sobre os conceitos de autonomia e pedagogia. O eixo em torno do qual se desenvolve esta investigação é o da Teoria da Autodeterminação. Assim, este texto defende que a autonomia é determinante na educação enquanto desenvolvimento do eu. A questão fundamental é a criatividade dos alunos. No entanto, o paradoxo do controlo do eu e do processo educativo emerge.
