A necessary philosophical distinction between technique and technology
Main Article Content
Abstract
For technology education is relevant to know some historical aspects that make a difference, as well as the similarity of the terms “technical” and “technology”. Sometimes, both terms are used synonymously in educational contexts, but it is important to be clear what it is that identifies or, in the opposite, what separates them. That is, it should be clear about the epistemological elements that underlie the starting point from where they make the equivalence between the terms of technique and technology, whether its purpose is the same, the educational process.
