Pedagogical accompaniment for the development of curriculum management

Abstract
This text summarizes some guiding elements and results of the experience of the project “Improvement of Curricular Management”, which was part of the initiative “My Community is School”, through which a team of professionals of the Institute of Education and Pedagogy of the Universidad del Valle and of the Municipal Education Department, in order to promote better pedagogical and curricular practices in 45 Official Educational Institutions (oei) —77 elementary and middle school— in Santiago de Cali, under a situated and differential proposal that made the processes of teacher self-training and pedagogical support complementary. The work carried out between 2018 and 2019 had in the first instance the contributions of the figure of the teacher-tutor, who became the key to accompany other teachers on the path of recognition, analysis, the transformation of their practices and documentation, and systematization of school experiences. The project contemplated its development through three components: the training of 120 tutor teachers, the accompaniment of pedagogical processes in 45 oei, and the construction of institutional and municipal pedagogical guidelines, as a first step for the appropriation and construction of policy public in the field of education. These three components functioned in an interdependent manner to achieve the transformations of pedagogical practices, and in the manner of gears, they helped to redefine the relationships between subjects (teachers, managers, students, community), school knowledge, and educational institutions.
