Habilidades socioemocionais de pensamento crítico e resolução de problemas no ensino universitário

Resumo

O objetivo deste artigo é analisar as competências socioemocionais no âmbito da formação universitária, bem como o pensamento crítico e a resolução de problemas. Dado que, de acordo com o Fórum Económico Mundial, pouca investigação se centra na relação entre estas competências na área do conhecimento de gestão, apesar do seu impacto no futuro emprego. Prova disso é que foi realizada uma revisão da literatura na base de dados Web of Science, utilizando as palavras-chave: "competências socioemocionais", "educação" e "associação com a gestão", correspondentes aos domínios da gestão, economia e finanças - uma pesquisa realizada em agosto de 2022 -. Nesta pesquisa, foram encontrados 7557 artigos, dos 500 mais citados, apenas 27 mostraram alguma relação com o campo de interesse do trabalho, o que mostra uma escassez de literatura e oportunidades de pesquisa. Da mesma forma, 15 documentos de organizações multilaterais (tais como: Banco Mundial, Organização para a Cooperação e Desenvolvimento Económico (OCDE), Fórum Económico Mundial, Organização Internacional do Trabalho (OIT), Banco Interamericano de Desenvolvimento (BID) também se relacionam com as competências socioemocionais, numa perspetiva multilateral ou sindical. Estas lacunas entre a literatura académica e os estudos das agências multilaterais têm impacto nas diferenças entre as expectativas do mercado sobre as competências socioemocionais dos trabalhadores e a oferta das instituições de ensino superior.
