The conceptualization of the context and its influence on the discourse used in the classroom

Abstract

This work briefly explores the evolution of the contextual concepts within the discourse, and it consists of an overview of the context from the perspective of some authors who have contributed to the development of these concepts. Furthermore, this paper attempts to reflect on the problems generated in the interpretation and production of a discourse within a particular educational context. This reflection starts from the discourse analysis which deals with the particularities of the people’s oral and written production aimed to perform social, political, or cultural acts within diverse local contexts as well as within wider frames of the social and cultural structure. Thus, understating this discourse as a practical, social and cultural phenomenon.
