El modulador de voz Talk It en la construcción de la pronunciación inglesa: El caso de los jóvenes aprendices españoles

Resumen

Hablar ha sido en gran medida una de las habilidades más difíciles de dominar para los estudiantes de idiomas, especialmente en las primeras etapas del proceso de aprendizaje porque exige un buen dominio de la pronunciación. Por lo tanto, el propósito de este estudio fue analizar la efectividad del modulador de voz Talk it para ayudar a los jóvenes estudiantes de inglés como lengua extranjera (EFL) a mejorar su pronunciación. Esta investigación exploratoria aplica un diseño cuasi-experimental y tiene un enfoque mixto (cuantitativo-cualitativo). La metodología implementada comenzó con el análisis del dominio actual de la pronunciación de los participantes, seguido de la implantación del modulador de voz llamado Talk it como herramienta para promover la mejora de la pronunciación en el grupo experimental, y la comparación de la mejora de la pronunciación entre el grupo control y el experimental. grupos. Los resultados mostraron que el modulador de voz Talk it  contribuyó efectivamente a mejorar la pronunciación en el grupo experimental, generando una brecha significativa en comparación con el grupo de control. En conclusión, los moduladores de voz pueden aportar importantes beneficios a los jóvenes estudiantes y convertirse en un aliado estratégico para que logren una pronunciación nativa en sus primeras etapas de aprendizaje.
