Abstract

Volume 19, No. 36 of the INVENTUM Journal presents a significant contribution to the generation and dissemination of scientific knowledge, resulting from both institutional research and external collaborations. The articles included in this edition reflect a thematic diversity that engages with contemporary issues, addressing, among other aspects, the challenges and opportunities of ICTs in education, services for vulnerable populations, cybersecurity, road safety in urban contexts, sustainable practices in construction and social infrastructure, as well as the use of renewable energies in industrial processes and agroecological approaches in production systems.


This collection of research is structured around the principles of sustainability, highlighting the strategic role of technologies and clean energy in transforming current consumption patterns. From a social innovation perspective, the contributions gathered here promote comprehensive solutions aimed at improving quality of life and strengthening the resilience of communities. In this context, the articles engage directly with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), in accordance with the global agenda promoted by the United Nations towards the 2030 and 2050 horizons.

John Fredy Avendaño Mancipe is a Colombian academic, researcher, editor of the journal INVENTUM, and consultant with a strong focus on business humanism and sustainability. He currently teaches and conducts research at the Minuto de Dios University Corporation (UNIMINUTO) in Bogotá, Colombia.
