Proposal for the reduction of times and non-conforming products in the area of confections of the company Suramericana de Guantes S.A.S. through lean manufacturing tools

Abstract
The purpose of this work is a proposal for improvement by means of some lean manufacturing tools in the company in the company Suramericana de Guantes S.A.S. The company has an area for the preparation of endowments and textile garments on request, currently there is a low productive performance due to of extremely high cycle times and many reprocesses for non-conforming products, which generates non-fulfillment in orders and high production costs. To start the development of the proposal, the times of each reference were organized, later they were organized by product families, likewise each part involved in the process was analyzed to design a proposal using lean manufacturing tools that allows to reduce times and decrease the submission fee for non-conforming products.
