Main Article Content
Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to make a reflection on the characteristic components of the actions that legitimize violence after the internal armed conflict in Colombia. To that end, a reflective study is conducted that considers certain elements of discourse and actions that legitimize the armed conflict and
how this legitimacy hinders the processes of conflict resolution and other elements such as forgiveness, justice and reconciliation. Understanding conflict as a characteristic feature of human society, in Colombia there are decade-old war situations that have permeated the community’s ways of thinking. A war
phenomenon causes the occurrence of violence with social, economic, political and community effects, and therefore it is considered as a phenomenon that generates rejection due to its conditions; however, its functionality and purpose can lead to its legitimization.
