Abstract

This paper presents the methodology used to assess the effectiveness of Entrepreneurship Program EMPRETEC® for the Colombian case, in order to propose and expose a methodological design as a reference in subsequent effectiveness evaluations of Social Entrepreneurship programs.

The objectives, theoretical basis, methodology and results of Intervention from EMPRETEC® are reviewed to draw conclusions about the Eeffectiveness of the Pprogram, guided inby the research work “assessment of impact and results of the Entrepreneurship program EMPRETEC® , Aapplied by Cafam Family Compensation for Colombia in 2014 “,. iIn whichthis the effects of the program were measured in relation to its objectives: strengthen the features of the entrepreneurial behavior, foster the creation of new companyies and improve the performance of companies and businesses of those who participated in the program.
