Difficulties writing reports in higher education reading and writing in university education

Abstract
The following paper presents a contribution to the pursuit of difficulties when writing higher-education-level reports. The study is based on both theoretical and empirical research involving students of engineering colleges from different universities in Bogotá D.C. Firstly, theoretical background is made explicit, followed by a focus on the methodology and a brief conclusions section. Finally, a set of classroom activities intended to help students overcome writing difficulties is proposed.
