Abstract

This article aims to comprehend the experience offered by Theater for Peace [Teatro por la Paz], a collective of young people and women from Tumaco-Nariño, who promote through their narratives scenarios of resistance and liberation against the violence, impunity and the abandonment by the state. The analyzed categories consist in: the social conflict and its relation with the social mobilization from the practices of alternative communication, the citizenship from the participation and the cooperation and the reconstruction of what’s public from the appropriation of the territory and thecapacity of the agents for creating scenarios of human and social development in a context of social inequity.
