Abstract

Considering the strengthening of education quality and students training, the Logistics Technology program of Corporación Minuto de Dios, has created a space to develop research seedbeds. This research was the result of work done by students, whose aim is to design a proposal for routing of Archdiocesan Food Bank Foundation located in Santiago de Cali. This option would enable to execute the routes programming of vehicles that pick donations up at various points and supermarkets. For its development, diverse techniques were used to gather the information, such as visual observation, recent data and interviews. Likewise, several authors related to logistics domain were consulted and a software application was employed to support the vehicle routing process.
