Soft skills na universidade e contexto de trabalho uma revisão documental

Resumo
As aptidões leves têm vindo a assumir grande importância na esfera académica e profissional, uma vez que se relacionam com maiores possibilidades de empregabilidade e sucesso profissional. O presente artigo é uma revisão documental de tipo panorâmica sobre essas habilidades em diferentes contextos, cujo objetivo é identificar as principais pesquisas e suas abordagens em torno do campo educativo, sobretudo no contexto universitário, e do trabalho. Para o efeito, foram revistos e analisados trinta estudos sobre o tema, com base nos quais se identificaram algumas tendências, como, por exemplo, que a maioria deles estavam escritos em inglês; que nos anos 2009 e 2012 foi onde mais foram publicados documentos sobre o tema; que a metodologia mais utilizada foi a quantitativa; que existem diversas denominações para este tipo de habilidades, entre outras tendências. Face às possíveis limitações, constatou-se que a abordagem na América Latina a estas competências tem sido escassa, bem como as publicações em espanhol; no entanto, na última década despertou-seum forte interesse pelo tema, espera-se, por conseguinte, um aumento do número de investigações e publicações neste domínio. Conclui-se que é necessário reforçar a instrução em competência branda no contexto universitário, dado que estas complementam as competências duras, o que permite uma formação integral dos estudantes e maiores probabilidades de ingressar e manter-se no mundo do trabalho, já que são também uma necessidade nestes contextos organizacionais.
