Research and Innovation: Articles that address specific communication topics from an analytical, interpretative, and critical perspective. They aim to foster deep academic and theoretical reflection, creating space for authors who wish to explore, analyze, and question various contemporary phenomena or issues based on evidence and rigorous research.
Artifacts: Research + Creation: Articles promoting creativity and research rigor, offering space for innovative proposals in graphic, audiovisual, sound, multimedia, and transmedia formats.
Reflections: Articles addressing specific topics through the author’s analytical, interpretative, and critical perspective.
Reviews: Articles that provide critical commentary on books, articles, reports, documentaries, or other materials of relevance to communication.
3. General Submission Guidelines
Manuscript structure: Following the IMRD format (Introduction, Method, Results, Discussion).
Languages: Spanish, English, and Portuguese.
Average length: From 5,000 to 10,000 words, depending on the article type.
Peer review: Double-blind to ensure impartiality.
4. Title and Abstract Requirements
Title: In Spanish, English, and Portuguese, maximum 15 words.
Abstract: In the three languages, up to 300 words.
Keywords: 3-5 keywords per language, according to UNESCO thesaurus.

The journal uses Turnitin to detect similarities and verify manuscript originality. The acceptable threshold is determined by the editorial team, and if exceeded, the article will be returned for correction.
Authors must respond to reviewer comments within two weeks to submit the corrected version; otherwise, the author will be considered to have withdrawn from the editorial process.
11. Publication and Post-Publication
DOI assignment: Each published article receives a unique DOI.
Open access: The journal is published in open access.
Error correction: Errors detected post-publication can be corrected under certain conditions.
