Abstract

The following document presents a reflection on research and intervention in mental health. This has emerged as a concern based on the way in which mental health analysis is achieved in social reality (individual and collective) and its place in contemporary society. For this, some discussions of other authors  have been taken into consideration, with a similar concern regarding categories such as social class and gender, which has allowed to broaden and develop reflections from which complex readings of this subject are achieved, thus overcoming analyzes that locate mental discomforts in specific individuals. This also implies an approach to a methodological proposal that can broaden the horizons of the analysis of research and intervention in mental health.
