Expansion of humanitarian actions and of development from the ethical point of view of "la acción sin daño"

Abstract

"Acción sin doña" refers to a focus and ethical posture against actions and its consequences that are made in a conflict situation, with interventions from external actors that concur with different humanitarian or development aid. The paper takes into account the foundations of “acción sin daño", from the beginning "hipocrático" announcing like the "priman non necere", applied to the social sciences. It does not mean that it has to be analyzed from the damage done by conflict, but from those that are provoked by the actions or omissions of those that contribute to humanitarian actions or development, in conflict scenarios, also in conflict scenarios.


It is about taking conscience of the real possibility of producing harm, but at the same time that it can also find positive effects. A posture of having a minim moral, can constantly conduct in preventing and revising ways to avoid harmful effects and fortify local competences for peace.

Es licenciada en Ciencias del Trabajo, Universidad Católico de Lovaino, Bélgica; realizó un postgrado en Países en Desarrollo, en lo Universidad Católico de Lovoino, Bélgica. Adelantó la Especialización en Derechos Humanos en lo ESAP, de Bogotá, Ha sido consultora de lo Agencio Suizo para lo Cooperación y el Desarrollo, COSUDE, Colombia. Actualmente es docente en lo Corporación Universitario Minuto de Dios y directora de lo Especialización en Gerencia Social en la mismo Universidad.
