Conference Proceedings Submissions
Conference Proceedings Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
-
The submission file must be in Microsoft Word format, Arial font, size 12, single spacing, single column, with 2.5 cm margins on each side.
- Research, review, and reflection articles should have a maximum of 6000 words, that is, a maximum of 20 pages (including title, abstracts, statements, tables, and references). Research incubator papers and opinion or essay articles should have a maximum of 3000 words. Book reviews should have an average length of 300 words.
- In the figures, the title goes underneath and is sufficiently descriptive. The source also goes underneath. Each figure is numbered consecutively. The call within the text must appear before the figure. Decimals are written with a period. All figures have been sent individually in JPG, TIFF, or BMP format with a resolution of 300 dpi (72) for correct loading and display on the screen.
- The reference list is in the APA 7th version referencing system. It includes all references cited in the text, in alphabetical order by last name, and in chronological order when there are several works by the same author. There are no citations of papers that have not been accepted for publication.
- The submission includes each author's information in a footnote (full name of each author, institutional affiliation, city, country, institutional e-mail, and OrcID).
- The submission includes in a separate document the author identification form (available for download in the "Documents" section of the main menu).
- The submission includes an abstract (between 150 and 200 words, written in a single paragraph and in Spanish, English, and Portuguese) and keywords (between 5 and 7 keywords, in lower case, separated by a semicolon, and in Spanish, English, and Portuguese. It is recommended to validate their use in the ERIC thesaurus or the UNESCO thesaurus). Book reviews will not carry this information.
- The tables are created in Word with the Table option. The title goes on top and is descriptive enough. The font goes underneath. Each table is numbered consecutively and the callout within the text appears before the table. Decimals are written with a period.
- You have the informed consent of the participants (if applicable), as well as the image use authorizations (if the article includes graphic elements of your own or of third parties).
