Inclusión y Desarrollo (e-ISSN: 2590-7700) is an open access scientific journal, peer reviewed under the double-blind modality, whose aim is to promote the national and international debate on the construction of knowledge and understanding of processes of social inclusion and social development from different perspectives related to the social sciences, humanities and education.

The following are the theme lines covered:

  • Educational Inclusion and Inclusive Education: fosters contributions derived from new insights through studies and research within the domains of educational inclusion and inclusive education, aimed at expanding the understanding from various academic fields. The articles in this segment document educational processes at local, national, or international levels, where they promote socio-critical contributions to training programs that encourage innovations and adaptations to the social context from an inclusionary perspective.
  • Interculturality, Coexistence, and Citizenship: explores interculturality, coexistence, and citizenship within social settings, enhancing coexistence as a pillar of participation and the construction of citizenship, centered on rights and socio-political responsibilities. It aims to synthesize research that elucidates the interactions of social actors and the establishment of a more equitable society.
  • Exclusion, Poverty, and Inequality: seeks to uncover original studies that contribute knowledge on processes of exclusion, poverty, and inequality, pertaining to access to goods, essential services, and both monetary and non-monetary multidimensional assessments that explore various factors potentially impacting quality of life significantly. This initiative is designed to stimulate academic discussions that produce alternatives for social, civic organizations and society at large.
  • Social Mobility and Migrant Population: focuses on identifying findings concerning internal and external migration, providing thorough analyses of migrations and their impact on the social fabric, thus enabling the exploration of educational, training, and employment solutions for integration within the region. From these analyses, practical and insightful options are proposed to foster harmonious social integration and sustainable development within impacted communities or through state proposals.
  • Social Justice, Human Rights, and Culture of Peace: highlights research that thoroughly and critically addresses the contemporary challenges in these vital areas. Studies that explore themes such as social justice, the protection of fundamental rights, and the promotion of peace across various contexts and communities are expected. Where innovative methods and effective actions that encourage the formation of more equitable and inclusive societies are emphasized. Interdisciplinary studies that offer fresh perspectives and practical solutions for progressing towards a world where social justice, human rights, and a culture of peace are central, are particularly valued.
  • Alternatives, Mechanisms, and Tools for Social Development:: seeks research that fully and critically examines the various options and mechanisms that foster social development. Contributions that assess the effectiveness of different approaches and tools in addressing contemporary challenges in the social sector are welcomed. We particularly value interdisciplinary research that delivers innovative and practical solutions for driving sustainable and equitable social development. Aims to spotlight research that supports the creation of effective alternatives, efficient mechanisms, and tools that facilitate inclusive social development centered on community well-being.
