The catharsis of Latin American politics: from physical violence to violence of conscience as an exercise of power

Abstract

This article aims to expose those violent strategies that have been used by small circles of power and even in international politics in Latin America. In principle, the use of argument has been delegitimized by the use of force and physical violence manifested in different practices, from the everyday to death itself. Once the insufficiency of physical domination has escalated, the violence of conscience and domination of the will of the people makes its presence felt, as a means of manipulation with the aimof reifying the people and alienating the power of their action. In the face of this, a path is presented through the resistance of the Latin American non-violent man to confront these physiologies of violence
