Philosophy for children: a meaningful experience, a different perspective

Abstract

This article seeks to illustrate how an internship in Philosophy for Children encoura­ges the development of particular thought skills from the philosophical exercise. This is done through communities of inquiry developed at school, which allow knowledge to be built and shared by encountering others. Furthermore, the article highlights Philosophy for Children as an alternative to improve understanding and philosophical practice in the educational field.
