Implementation of the Safety and Health Management System at Work in the Fitness Industrial Company in Ipiales, Department of Nariño

Abstract

The present investigative work carried out in the Industrial Fitness company is focused on the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System - SG-SST, for this reason, the research was focused from a descriptive type study carried out since from March to October of the current year, allowing the research group to carry out an initial evaluation of the company, which allows establishing a self-diagnosis based on compliance with the minimum requirements based on Resolution 0312 of 2019. Having Taking into account the diagnosis established for Industrial Fitness, it was seen the need to implement an action plan that would allow compliance with current regulations, taking into account the minimum standards established for companies with 10 workers or less, which is why it had to be met 100% with seven standards listed below: Assignment of person who designs the OSH Management System, Afi Liaison to the Social Security Systems in Health, Pension and Occupational Risks in accordance with current regulations, Training in OSH, Annual Work Plan Occupational medical evaluations Identification of hazards; Risk assessment and assessment, Prevention and control measures against identified dangers / risks Once the action plan is started, it is possible to establish some recommendations and actions to follow, including the hiring of responsible personnel for SG- SST, preparation of risk matrix, perform occupational medical examinations, among others; These activities allowed to investigate, learn, solve difficulties that contributed knowledge and experience to both the research group and the company.
