Abstract

The purpose of this article is to signify the child in the Venezuelan social scene from the versions of the UPEL-IPB Initial Education students and as a product of their experiences and pedagogical exchanges lived in professional practice. The study focus was qualitative based on the hermeneutical phenomenological method and supported by in-depth interviews to collect the information. The findings reveal the profound disagreement between the legal theoretical precepts and the reality lived by children, who live in permanent exhibition on the networks, in contexts full of sexualized images as well as the desecration of their rights and their own essence of being. Faced with this reality, the child deserves to deploy his existence between care and human love and have the opportunities for growth that each vital world can bring him.
