In it there are common elements that reveal an emerging theme: the Teacher-Artist duality, which is fundamental for the training of Graduates in Art Education in Higher Education, since it is a relevant aspect when defining or revising the curricular structure during this type of training. Artistic teaching and production are complementary and not contradictory activities in education and in the artistic context. This is an ethnographic qualitative research, the source of information comes from the semi-structured interviews conducted with graduates in 2015, applying the analysis of discourse Van Dijk (1999) and observation from a place of the shared aesthetic experience, proposed by Farina (2006), since the researchers are co-participants in the same training, graduated from the same university and professionally practice in the pedagogical field and artistic production in dance and theater.
