Film industry and exhibition in Colombia: notes for and alternative exhibition

Abstract

This article exposes the state of film exhibition in the country, determined both by its historical trajectory and by its current insertion in the context of global production, the laws and the actors that inter-vene within this sector. From its identification, it proposes criteria on distribution and commercial exhibition, in order to, finally, recognizethe spaces from which an alternative exhibition could be thought of.
