Art and politics as modes of aesthetic knowledge
Main Article Content
Abstract
Essay about the ways in which the relationships between art and politics have been thought, traditionally through the concept of representation, and now through the concept of aestheticization. It is proposed that art and politics both participate in modes of knowledge that are not reduced to conceptual frames, but find their meaning in the interpretation of both discourses and aesthetic forms, which is exemplified by three cases of art-politics actions developed during the Chilean social outbreak of October, 2019.
