Study of the framing in the Mexican written press The Florence Cassez case
Main Article Content
Abstract
The study of the framework of the information found in the press related to the Florence Cassez case, using Entman’s “Cascading Activation Model” (2003). Informative texts were taken from three national Mexican newspapers: La Jornada, Reforma and El Universal, to form part of this analysis in four parts, as the work was divided, including the seven years that Cassez was in prison. In these stages we have studied how the related protagonists took their stances on the topic and how they moved, in order to view how Entman’s model makes sense in, and how mass communication dealt with Cassez’s case.
