      Abstract

Social work is a profession that intervenes, transforms and seeks human wellbeing and the satisfaction of basic human needs. Through their skills and capabilities, the social worker can carry out a social intervention with different actors by offering alternatives that are adapted to the situations and particular issues of a local population. This article is an argumentative exercise, where we set out the importance of associate management. First, we’ll explain the origins, the concept, the outlook and the different methodologies of associate management. Second, we will define the concept of Local Development. And finally, we will link associate management with local development and social work.
