Inspection, administration and adjustment of agricultural risks

Abstract

This research of exploratory type, takes as object of study the Family Small Business in Colombia, recognizing the significant contribution of the sector to the GDP and the agricultural and livestock vocation of the country. Situation to which must be added a list of problems, among which is highlighted a total discouragement by mechanisms of financial support through insurance, taking into account that of the total of the national territory grown in Colombia is only insured the one (1) percent. With the objective of Establishing, from the University of La Salle, a system of information and management of agricultural risks in Colombia, which contributes to its financial assurance and leveraging the productive process of the Small Family Entrepreneur of the Field in the event of casualties. Inspected than 131 farms in different municipalities of Colombia, arriving at technical conclusions of insurance that would prevent the acceptance of the risks that the companies own by the insurance companies.
