Abstract

The following research article presents the results of the study about the argumentation of effectiveness in the practices of pre-service teachers from the B.Ed. in Philosophy from the Open and Distance National University. This research, with a mixed design approach, tackles the pre-service teachers’ subjective theories from an analysis of semantic nets and adjacency matrix applied to individuals’ interviews. The presence of a basic structure of terms is established that refer to states and processes in the subjective theories related to the perception of effectiveness of the teaching exercise.
