Abstract

This document presents a literature review and aims to analyze the influence of pollution from vehicular traffic on human health. The growth of vehicles in the world generates greater amounts of polluting gas
emissions in the health of the population, which affects respiratory and pulmonary problems. The lack of education and road development plan is presented, which ends up causing traffic jams in the cities, generating discomfort in the population due to the high pollution in the air and noise, in addition to the multiple consequences that these types of pollution cause. 48 articles indexed between the years 2004 to 2021 were reviewed, distributed as follows: 4 from Scopus, 24 from SciELO, 6 from Dialnet, 06 from ScienceDirect, 8 from Latindex and 1 website on vehicular pollution, vehicular traffic, pollution by vehicular noise and traffic in health. Finally, some conclusions are given with which we can understand a little more about this great problem that tends to be one of the most damaging factors
that threatens health and that currently has no solution.
