The communication groups in Colombia, the pandemic and misinformation, communication entropy, the dispute for meaning and the struggle not to be silenced

Abstract

“In the Colombian territory and covering enormous extensions, especially in rural areas, the coast, the manigua, the Cauca, the Pacific, the mountains, the north and the south, the borders, the east and the west and in all places where the State has not yet arrived in its entirety and only arrives through the dominant power of the armed forces, there are community, popular and own communication collectives that in their contents, produce new meanings about the defense of Human Rights, access to Citizen Rights, Land Rights, the situation of displaced peasants or trying to return to their territories, the situation of native peoples in tension with extractivist companies, the situation of violated and abused women for different warriors of the armed conflict in all their armies, inequality and poverty, access to health, education, work, and all fundamental and inalien Rights of the various communities that inhabit Colombia. ” (Ceraso 2019)

These social practices constitute spaces of participation for the communities and open channels, in adverse contexts of communication and silence imposed by state terrorism and armed conflict, fear and repression; participation exercised to take the public floor, produce new discourses, contents and meanings in the face of the contents and agendas imposed by the univocal discourse that predominates reproducing itself.
