Abstract
The young people of Cazucá, commune 4 of the surrounding munici-pality of Soacha, face stigmatization and social rejection due to their origin and residence in this suburban sector of the Colombian capi-tal, in addition to being tied to a vertical school, representative of the colonization of knowledge. the article exposes the various forms of subordination that they resist, with the creation of spaces of empow-erment that testify to the vitality of the social struggle and the capac-ity for transformation from the margins. it also raises questions about the role of the school.
