Abstract

This research project seeks to show the level of effectiveness of the information that workers receive
in business organizations of the floriculture sector in the municipality of Facatativá regarding the prevention
of occupational accidents, taking into account the high accident rate reported in 2014 by the
Secretariat of Health of Facatativá, which amounts to ten accidents a month on average. To obtain this
information, three surveys were created and applied to three specific population groups: administrative
staff, occupation health staff, and operational staff of the organization.
