A reflection for intervention in and prevention of human trafficking in Girardot, Colombia

Abstract

This article is a reflection of the Desarrollo Humano y Realidades Sociales research incubator created in 2015. This research incubator has managed to characterize the problem of human trafficking and its different modalities in Girardot and the region, by supporting professional practices processes, lectures, and thesis of the students of the group. The document presents the main activities developed, the historical and theoretical components, as well as the international, national and regional panorama around the subject.
