Abstract

Resilience in childhood has been the subject of academic analysis for its understanding as a skill and as a determining capacity of said vital transition. This systematic review article is based on the analysis of 50 articles located in scientific and academic databases, as well as different digital repositories. The review shows that, although resilience is an inherent ability of the human being, it can be altered or not according to the system in which the boy and girl grows up; therefore, resilience is considered as a capacity that can be developed or not, depending on said systemic context (microsystem, mesosystem, exosystem and macrosystem). This could indicate that, if a boy or girl grows up in contexts of marginality, their resilience may be compromised.

Keywords:
